Inspired by the previous post/site I decided do do a custom Super Metroid cover. I scanned one of my Super Nintendo boxes (Jeopardy! & Super Mario RPG) @ 300dpi. Using Adobe Photoshop & Illustrator i rebuilt entire front box art from scratch. But instead using original artwork, I went on a google searching spree for new Samus image. After a while, I found a great artwork on DeviantART by Ivan Flores, aka transfuse. Everything you see here has been re-done.

I don’t like to repeat old news, but sometimes I come across this amazing stuff on the net I just can not resist to omit. Metroid, or Super Metroid is one of my best games I ever played to this day. Often I search various things related to the subject, and today I found this amazing Samus Aran Varia Suit cosplay. I’m amazed at the quality of craftsmanship and attention to detail. Whoever did this is genius! Not to mention Samus is damn sexy!
